Vinay is taking on an action avatar in his film "Mothi Vilaiyadu", directed by Saran. Kajal Aggarwal (of "Pazhani" and "Bommalattam" fame) is paired opposite Vinay, who plays the son of a millionaire.
Lets have a Look into the story..
Rajan Vasudev (Kalabhavan Mani) is a big tycoon and has many rivals who are planning to destroy his empire. His only son Uday (Vinay) stays with his friend Mathan (Yuva) and lives a luxury life. One day while driving he meets with an accident that he believes is caused by Eswari (Kajal Agrawal) and so demands compensation. Eswari tries to convince him but Uday forces her to work in his house as a maid to compensate the loss he sustained. The hate between them slowly develops into love.
On their own, Vinay and Kajal played their role well. Vinay's rich boy looks and Kajal's funny act suit their character well but they lack some romance chemistry. Kalabhavan Mani as a rich tycoon dad may not be really convincing but still he played his part to satisfaction. Comedy track by Santhanam were okay. Music by Colonial Cousins was just average, as the film lacks a solid hit track.
The film managed to provide some unexpected twist in the second half but our interest doesn't last long. The cat and mouse game played by the main characters failed to impress us either.
Saran has tried his best to make an entertaining film with a modern feel but ended up using a slow script to narrate the story. Watch "Modhi Vilayadu" to see its luxurious set but don't expect much of anything else.
This is our opinion about this film.. On the Whole, We can enjoy this film..
Google has lobbying the U.S. government for changes in wireless policy. While it did not achieve as much as it wanted in the planning for the upcoming 700 Mhz spectrum auction in January, it did push for the fact that consumers in the U.S. can buy any phone and use it on any carrier in the future. Meaning, that when the Gphone does drop, most likely you'll be able to use it on any carrier you please. The Google phone will most likely be 3G as well, which means video conferencing, yea you can't do that with the iPhone. For you iPhones users though, would this be enough to make you switch?
The Observer of London is reporting that Google might be working with HTC and mobile/telecom giant Orange to build a Google Mobile Phone, which could possibly have Google software inside the device, and would be able to do many of the web tasks smartly. The device, article speculates, could go on sale in 2008. (Of course, we would all have forgotten by then… if it doesn't happen.)
Orange and Google, both declined to comment.
Their plans centre on a branded Google phone, which would probably also carry Orange's logo. The device would not be revolutionary: manufactured by HTC, a Taiwanese firm specializing in smart phones and Personal Data Assistants (PDAs), it might have a screen similar to a video iPod. But it would have built-in Google software which would dramatically improve on the slow and cumbersome experience of surfing the web from a mobile handset.
With the iTunes Store, Apple has done perhaps more than about any other company to help propel the proliferation of (legal) music downloads. And in doing so, Apple has also helped hammer the nail in the coffin of traditional CD sales thanks to Apple's simple distribution method and way for users to quickly find and download just the songs they are interested in.
The story suggests a September 2009 launch for the project (and, somewhat randomly, maybe alongside the oft-rumored tablet device that AppleInsider was predicting only a few days earlier for an early 2010 launch). Of course, this information comes from the same people who reported that Apple was planning a subscription-based music service.

HIGHLIGHTS-Cricket-England take six wickets in final செச்சின்:
England took six quick wickets after tea to reduce Australia to 156 for eight in their first innings on the second day of the second Ashes test at Lord's on Friday.
Australia bowled England out for 425 in the morning session. The players left the field for bad light shortly after the fall of the eighth wicket.
* Stuart Broad dismissed Brad Haddin (28) and Mitchell Johnson (4), who both mishit attempted hooks to Alastair Cook. James Anderson took his fourth wicket when Marcus North dragged a delivery on to his stumps. North, who scored a century in the drawn first test at Cardiff, was out for a duck.
* Michael Clarke (1) clipped a full delivery from Anderson to Cook who took a sharp catch at short mid-wicket.
* Andrew Flintoff was finally rewarded for some magnificent fast bowling when he bowled Michael Hussey for 51. Broad took an athletic tumbling catch at fine-leg off Graham Onions 21 balls earlier to dismiss opener Simon Katich for 48.
Opener Phillip Hughes (4) gloved a delivery from the third ball of Anderson's second over down the leg-side to wicketkeeper Matt Prior. Anderson then dismissed captain Ricky Ponting caught for two at first slip by his opposite number Andrew Strauss.
Umpire Rudi Koertzen rejected an appeal from Anderson for lbw but, after consulting his colleague Billy Doctrove to see if the ball had carried, gave Ponting out caught.
* Anderson (29) and Onions (17 not out) added 47 runs from 53 balls for the final wicket in England's innings before Anderson was caught in the gully by Hussey off Johnson. He had hit five fours off Johnson's bowling.
* Strauss, who had not added to his overnight score of 161, left the second delivery of the morning from Ben Hilfenhaus which nipped down the slope and struck his off-stump.
Graeme Swann (4) was caught at second slip by Ponting off Peter Siddle in the next over and Broad was bowled off the inside edge by Hilfenhaus for 16.
* England resumed on 364 for six after play began on time following heavy overnight rain.

Yahoo board member Icahn wants Microsoft deal
Activist investor Carl Icahn spoke out in favor of a search deal between Yahoo Inc and Microsoft Corp, as talks between the two companies appeared to regain momentum.
Icahn declined to comment on the state of any negotiations between Yahoo and Microsoft. He had tried to broker a partnership between the two companies last year, when talks on Microsoft's $47.5 billion takeover bid for Yahoo fell apart.
"I've been a strong advocate of getting a search deal done with Microsoft," Icahn, who owns about 5 percent of Yahoo and is a director on its board, told Reuters on Friday.
"It would enhance value if a deal got done, because of the synergies involved," he said in a phone interview.
Microsoft and Yahoo are close to a long-discussed search and online advertising deal, which could be announced in the next week, according to another source familiar with the matter who is not associated with Icahn.
The news was first reported by the AllThingsDigital blog, which said a deal would involve Microsoft paying Yahoo several billion dollars upfront to take over its search advertising business and guarantee certain payments back to Yahoo.
The two companies have talked about cooperating for months, after Microsoft's bid to buy Yahoo was rebuffed last year and Yahoo's attempt to seal a search advertising deal with Google Inc fell apart under regulatory scrutiny.
Yahoo Chief Executive Carol Bartz said in May that any deal to spin off or combine its search assets will require a partner with "boatloads of money." She said at the time that Yahoo was talking "a little bit" with Microsoft, but gave no details.
At NASA Kennedy Space Center's Launch Pad 39A, the rotating service structure, or RSS, was rolled away from space shuttle Endeavour at 11 p.m. EDT on Friday.Launch countdown operations remain on schedule as Endeavour and its crew of seven astronauts prepare for today's scheduled launch at 7:39 p.m."Everybody is 'go' for launch; we have no major issues at all," said Mike Moses, chairman of the mission management team, which completed its final review Friday. However, there is one problem the launch team may encounter on launch day: unfavorable weather.
According to Shuttle Weather Officer Kathy Winters, showers, thunderstorms and anvil clouds could interfere with the final hours of the countdown."By the time we get to launch time, we are going with a 60 percent chance of (Kennedy) weather prohibiting launch, so only a 40 percent chance of weather that is good for launch," Winters said. The launch team will meet this morning at 9:30 a.m. for a weather briefing before fueling space shuttle Endeavour. Tanking coverage will begin at 10 a.m. on NASA Television.
