Dhirubhai Ambani : The principles that made the man

Hi,

Today i have a valuable article about Dhirubhai Ambani : The principles that made the man.

One of the finest entrepreneurs of the country, Dhirubhai Ambani is a man who needs no introduction. Coming from a very humble family background, here is one person who has truly represented the great Indian dream, and become an inspiration for many across the country. However, many do not know that he in fact had a few principles that he used to follow. Following is the secret code, if you will, of cracking the success formula in practically everything. I'm pretty sure, that if all of us follow even 1% of what is stated below, we would be much happier throughout this journey called life.

*Never be afraid to help your team : Your team is just as human as you are, and if they were as capable as you, you would not be their leader. Understand this elementary concept and try to help them out at every step, even when you feel that it would lead to spoonfeeding. It's your job to prevent that. But criticising your team for not doing what they should be is wrong, and can lead to negative results. On the other hand, positive feedback and help at every stage would lead to a more than efficient productivity.

*You must be the protecting wall for your team : Sometimes your team might be well-prepared to handle even the toughest situation, but all they need is a word of encouragement from you. Although this may seem far fetched, remember the time when your boss gave a pat on your back for doing a very minute job perfect. It was not rocket science, but he appreciated it and you felt happy. Same ways, when your team knows you are standing behind them, they will more that meet your objectives.

*A good boss never takes credit : Even though you have done all the hard work and made sure that the final product of your team is good, you must never give yourself credit for the same. Refrain completely from acknowledging any comments that tell you that it was your hardwork, and in return, state that it was a team effort. You would be amazed how much it helps boost the morale of the people working under you as well as the person who has not performed very well.

*Dreams are not only when you close your eyes : One can also dream with open eyes, and this is often the best form, because you know where you are going. Although I'm hardly preaching the practice of ignoring your work and dreaming through the day, my point here is that once you have seen a dream, you must look out for practical ways to implement it. It's true that not all dreams are achievable, but the ones that are, might also turn out to be disasters if proper planning and research has not gone into the execution. One might have the biggest of ideas, and can yet fall miserably due to not looking ahead and finalizing the entire procedure or plan of action.

There you have it, probably the easiest but most appreciated philosophy for any business. Hope that you would also learn from it and go on to become a better professional.

Have a great weekend:)) Great Navarathiri Wishes to all my friends:))
